We signed the Finnish travel industry’s shared domestic declaration at the Matka Travel Fair in January 2026 —that is, a commitment to the sustainability of our tourism products across all areas of responsibility.
Ecological, sociocultural, and economic responsibility are all important. We will return to ecological and economic responsibility in future news. Here, we would like to highlight a couple of points related to sociocultural responsibility.
The text of the Helsinki Declaration mentions the following points:
➢ promoting mutual understanding and respect between people
➢ respecting human diversity
➢ promoting equality and non-discrimination
At Magni Mundi, we aim to reflect these values in both our travel packages and guided tours by creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels safe and included.
Through stories about people and everyday life in the past, we hope to deepen understanding of different experiences, backgrounds, and the choices they can shape in a person’s life. Human diversity has always existed, and every life is equally worthy of being remembered.
We, too, will become part of history for future generations, so let us treat one another with respect and appreciation here and now.
